It’s 10am. I’m falling out of bed, and into the car en route to Common People.

A precursor to Bestival; Common People welcome’s an eclectic mix of 30,000 attendees per day over it’s two day run time.
This year Common People boasted new stages, more boutique food stalls and the largest bouncy castle in the world; there’s truly something for everyone here. I spent my time chasing daylight and jumping between stages. Amongst the highlights of the day were performances from: The Sugarhill Gang, Public Enemy, Craig David, Kurupt FM & London Elektricity.
This festival is growing in size now after establishing a new site in Oxford to accompany the Southampton location. A great weekend, and a brilliant taste of what’s to come at this years Bestival.
