Sweet ginger-haired Natasha Culzac originally got in touch with Beppe Gallo having seen some of his previous work. With the aim of collaborating on a project together they met up and produced this vintage, retro feel video. “One thing I have noticed in many models videos is that most of them are very serious, they take them self too seriously. I find humour and banter very sexy in a woman and wanted to create something to reflect this so we came up with the idea of a girl being bored at home and acting out different imaginary characters, just for fun and hopefully we succeeded creating something that an audience can appreciate from a beauty perspective as well as a humorous one.” explains Beppe Gallo and on the back of this we asked a few things about Natasha´s life as well. What’s your morning beauty routine?
Bioderma Sensibio H2O is a lifesaver.
Where is home for you?
Camberwell/Peckham in south-east London, in a delicious, crumbling, corner Victorian house with a massive garden. Shame it’s not mine. I grew up in Hastings on the south coast of England and go back there often because my parents and friends still live there. It’s such a bonkers place and is, I guess, home home.
How do you respond to what others say about you?
If what they’re saying is good, with disbelief, and if it’s bad, with bitterness and death stares.
What are you grateful for?
Unconditional love.
The latest movie that made you cry?
Not a film but the latest Masterchef final. Sad but true.
And when was the last time you laughed out loud for real?
My boyfriend recently did a shoot for a tabloid’s fantasy football league and the picture has just come out. It’s hilarious. I’m still laughing. He’s actually a landscape gardener but he does the odd commercial modelling job when they’re looking for a 6’3 rugby-playing thug-a-like.
5 things you can´t live without
Google Maps, spontaneous holiday decisions I can’t afford, BBC iPlayer, a sleeping mask, and my 2016 diary.
How can you make the world better?
By being conscious that each individual footprint still makes a mark. Tread carefully. And by not taking the world all too bloody seriously.
