When we stumbled upon the images of 28 year old Andre Josselin we honestly didn´t think that behind this there would be a photographer from Cologne. His speciality are light-saturated images with wonderful colors; an overall look that could come from over the ocean. Girls with freckles, tattoos and sometimes an infectious laugh. Sexy, natural and youthful.

And what do you want to capture in your images?
I love to capture life with natural light. Showing a mood and a lifestyle people (and me) can relate too. I take pictures of beautiful girls and beaches, but do some documentary stuff too. The only direction I have is my mood and my feelings.
What inspires and excites you?
I’m inspired by what I see when I go out. I love to just walk around and take pictures, without a big plan behind it. I’m inspired by other photographers too, especially from Eastern-Europe and France.
Do you sometimes feel disconnected to your work?
Sometimes I lose some confidence, when I’m sitting there retouching and don’t know what I should do with the stuff I’ve just taken. But I think that if you ask yourself everyday what you can do better, that’s the best way to improve yourself. So I’m never completely happy with my output. But I am on a good way.
What do you see yourself doing 10 years from now?
A lot can happen in 10 years. So I hope that people will enjoy my pictures in books, commercials or whatever while I’m sitting on a boat in the ocean and enjoying life. Would be a dream come true haha.
