Here we have part 2 of Marisa Chafetz´s film diary of her trip in Los Angeles. “These photos are mostly from the first couple days I spent in LA. I was very quickly swept up into it all. We jumped from party to party- with body paint and sparklers and boys jumping off the second floor balcony. I was brought from place to place, with everyone I met very eager to show me how beautiful and exciting their home city is. I marveled at the palm trees, the cactuses, and the lack of humidity. And I didn’t put my camera down for a second.”

This travel diary really captures the raw, dreamlike side of LA that most people overlook. I came across it while planning my own trip a while back, and Marisa Chafetz’s photos totally shifted how I explored the city. Instead of just hitting the usual tourist spots, I followed the vibe of her journey—random streets, quiet beaches, and those in-between moments. It made the whole experience feel way more personal and meaningful. The tones and mood in her shots are something else, too. Honestly, this post was a gem and gave me a whole new perspective on how to travel.
