“The inspiration for the shoot came once Rebekah had arrived; I tend to get along great with everybody from the start, but the second you meet her it’s remarkable how comfortable you already are – like you’ve known her for ages and were finally catching up after a break or as if she was a good friend you’d just seen yesterday.”
“From that point I just wanted to get something spontaneous; laid back & relaxed. She comes in heavy with worn, black leather. She sits on the floor & rolls her own cigarettes. She tells off color jokes and laughs at you laughing at herself. I shot her before, during & after makeup. In a thousand dollar dress or a ten year old biker jacket, her persona doesn’t change. Her look is just as strong in serious & orchestrated shots as it is snacking on fruit or laughing, pulling the hair from her mouth when a gust of wind blows the umbrella inside out. She has those intense, wonderfully full features that you still can’t seem to tear your gaze from–even in the cheekier, more titillating shots.” ~ Fox Harvard
