“I’ve always been a big fan of integrating reflections into my work for awhile now. I like the idea of creating images that warp spacial understanding and conventions. So we decided a ballet hall would be great as it has great muted colours as well as long panels of mirror taking up most of the walls. Once we had the space locked down we assembled the elements and on the day let it evolve from there.”

Ballet girls are the most adorable creatures. They’re so graceful.
Ballet and dance are a combination of art, grace and incredible technique. Each movement reflects the depth of emotion and dedication. Great figures such as Margot Fonteyn have left an indelible mark on the world of dance, and their influence and inspiration are still felt on stage. The article about this legendary ballerina on https://artdeballet.com/fonteyn/ describes her contribution and how she transformed the way we think about the beauty and complexity of ballet.
