The 21st century girl doesn’t pertain to any stereotype. She’s a chick of many talents, one moment she’s in Europe, the next she’s in Asia. She’s working on several artistic projects at once and killing at every single one. She’s a mix of races – picking up different cultures as she travels. She’s the mysterious girl at the party you want to know her life story who everyone has their eyes on. Here we have sat down and chatted for you.
We had a 5 minutes chat with actress and model Lauren Rhoden talking about her stunts in the upcoming movie Lady Bloodfight, future dreams and her new home Hong Kong. Photographed by Lauren Engel for C-Heads with styling done by Priscilla I’Anson with lingerie provided Sheer Lingerie.
You are from Hawaii but based in Hong Kong now –couldn’t be more different places. What do you miss about Hawaii and what fascinates you about Hong Kong?
I really miss my horse, family, and just everything you would miss about home. Hawaii is paradise. Hong Kong is amazing in so many ways. Im constantly surrounded by creative minds that inspire me to work hard, and the the best I can be! Also, Chinese food ROCKS.
You have modeled for American Apparel. And you are going to star in the movie “Lady Blood Fight” soon. What attracted you to choose jobs where you are in the spotlight? And is the reality of them so far the way you expected?
To be honest the jobs choose me, pure luck! I couldn’t be more happy with Lady Blood Fight. Being able to work Chris Nahon and Michel Abramowicz is a dream. I also can’t get over the fact Voltage Films is working on it. Its definitely much much harder then I thought, especially since I’m doing my own stunts. Speaking of stunts, working with Hung Yan-yan (Our action choreography) is fucking awesome! I love him and the stunt team.

Dreams for your future?
My dream is to do more movies, and eventually open a horse stables where I can teach kids how to ride. Horses are one of the greatest gifts physically and mentally, and I want to be able to share that with people.
