“The name Tora derives from the Greek word ‘τώρα’ meaning now. The concept of Tora was conceived in the later months of 2012 and came together as a 5 piece act in early May 2013. We made our EP in a garage which was a whole lot of fun, enjoy.”

Everything about Tora is so good. The young band coming from the picturesque place Byron Bay in Australia had a successful start with their debut EP Intro in Australia and Canada and have now released it over here in Germany, Switzerland and Austria, where you are now also able to download it for a limited amount of time.We can feel as if they have wrapped in some of the calming whitecaps; certainly the sort of music that will rerun on our record player. In April they will grace themselves with their presence over here in Europe with their debut album on board and a small Germany tour and performance at the “Best Kept Secret Festival”. Well, since we just checked out some live stuff by them on the net, we really look foward to see them.

Hello from Berlin! I love freedom, travelling, long train rides, Stefan Zweig books, cats, colours, writing postcards, music, and movies à la Woody Allen and Wes Anderson. What makes me really happy is the seaside, sunrises and sunsets and having lots of time!
