“Colour always has and will be an irreplaceable aspect in my life, specially in photography. When you take a first look at London though, it couldn’t be more grey. Thats when I decided to use those 80’s screw-on objective filters to create this almost unnatural dreamy, I would also say smokey atmosphere, in which the viewer dives in into an adventure of colours and impressions.” Switzerland based photographer Raphael Buehlmann, who is also a professional tattooer and painter, and model Lili spent a whole day in Chinatown and at dawn they returned to a warehouse in Shoreditch. “The second part involves a lot of emotions, which should give the viewer the impression of how distant, intimate things can go. My main goal, as already outlined before, was to create ultimate intimacy, giving the viewer a gasp of how an artist sees, feels and works with his muse.” Enjoy this terrific, cool C-Heads exclusive!
