adidas Originals hosted its first Tubular Pop-Up Gallery located in SOHO, New York, featuring a performance by rapper Future. The temporary gallery, a mix of a gallery and store showcased the Fall/Winter 2015 and Spring/Summer 2016 Tubular sneaker. The inspiration from this series is from the early 90s adidas running technology.
In the gallery space, adidas had artists inspired from the Tubular series create their own visuals. Artists included Brian Alcazar, Humza Deaz, Christina Paik, VisualsbyPierre, Brock Fetch and Natalia Mantini.
