Our friends from Australia, Ainsley Hutchence and Sebastien Fougere of the Sticks and Stones Agency have once more been exploring the Axis Trade Show in New York that we have already reported about at the beginning of this year.
“This time Sebastien and I just shot polaroids and did a bunch of filming and I really got so much deeper into whole concept of the show and it really is amazing. They focus on multi dimensional women in business and yes, we women are busy!” tells us Ainsley and Vanessa Chiu, show director, adds to explain the concept again: “Axis is multi-dimensional trade event that we built for the new generation of women to fill a niche per a demand in the market where retailers, industry and media collide. We curate an authentic and intimate grouping of collections with a bit of brand discovery while paying attention to accessibility and price points. We aim to showcase and story tell on our multi-dimensional platform an extension of our multi-hat wearing/juggling gal, be it she works out in the AM or PM, works hard at work, plays hard in-between and is both a friend, sister, mother, partner, entrepreneur, life-explorer/student or has been one of these sub-category labels at some in some point in her life. Axis houses collections for the new generation spanning across fashion lifestyle, active lifestyle & swim, home and beauty, and accessories and intimates. There simply was a greater need and demand for space to curate a larger representation of what the new generation wants.”
Next show dates: A/W16 – February 21-23, 2016
