Symmetry. Flowers. Cinematic Art. Photographer Tamara Lichtenstein teamed up with her muse Sara Hirom for C-Heads
“Lately, I’ve been distancing myself from photography. Not because I don’t love it anymore, but because I haven’t been connecting with my work. I’ve been disconnected due to being overwhelmingly emotional about losing myself and my vision. Sometimes you think you have it all figured out, and then you realize you’re lost in your own perception of reality. I think every artist ends up feeling this way at some point, which is almost comforting. Even if it doesn’t seem possible though, you have to exert creative energy. This is when an inspiring muse is crucial. Sara is one of the most inspiring people to work with. Every time we shoot, it feels so easy and effortless. She is a muse to many photographers because not only is she beautiful, she is imaginative. I showed her the colorful locations in Houston I wanted to use, and she styled the shoot perfectly with her own wardrobe. It was a complete collaboration, and I couldn’t be happier to feel this way again.”
