You have a multi-ethnic background with French, Irish, Black, American Indian, and Korean. Growing up, you moved around lot – from Portland, Oregon, Puerto Vallarta, Mexico, and LA. How does your background shape the person you are now?
Growing up being so diverse it was not the easiest for me, the kids would make fun of me in school not knowing what ethnicity I was, since I look more asian than white. Kid’s would make fun of my eyes, the shape, I was bullied. I still have a few insecurities of those times, but now I look at all ethnicities and see how beautiful, all colors, shapes, people of other cultures are, we are all so beautiful! Moving so much has given me the ability to adapt to new situations, the only draw back to that was having fewer friends, but the upside is my family and I have always been close.
Describe how you were like in highschool. What would you tell your younger self back then?
I was homeschooled so I didn’t go to traditional highschool, I would tell my younger self to know that you are beautiful and God has so many amazing and magnificent things in store for you in your life!
Tell us about when you acted in the 5th season of MTV2’s “Guy Code”. What did you learn from filming it?
Filming Guy Code Season 5, I learned alot of in appropriate things, which some were helpful and some, I wish I didn’t know, hahaha
How was it transitioning from making vines to being on TV?
The transition was super easy, because I have been training for acting for many years, and always have wanted to be on TV and in films. It actually is much easier acting on Television, than creating Vines, I am so comfortable on set. I love every minute of it.
Through getting popular on vines you have opened up a lot of opportunities. Do you think social media has changed the acting/casting industry?
I think when it comes to the acting industry, it’s changed in a way that some productions will cast people with a higher following that can’t act, over actual actors who have been studying for years. I do believe that Social Media does open the door for alot of passionate Social influencers like myself, which has been a Blessing for me and for others.
What is your perception on true love?
My perception of True Love, hmmm. Well this is a question that will probably take years for me to have a true answer for!
