“The biggest challenge of my generation is find yourself, because I see people getting lost all the time, and I feel the same, I feel I am lost, I don’t know what do to, what to think, what I want. It’s really hard to find yourself, know yourself…”
Colin Sussingham shot Taina in her apartment in London at the end of November. “It was cold and rainy (typical London) We styled the shoot together based on the clothing she and her roommate had available at their place. She moved to London two years ago from Brazil.” And we had a small insightful chat with the dazzling girl.
What is the strangest, most personal thing about you?
I don’t know the strangest thing about me, I think I’m kind of a crazy person, I feel the people are following me all the time, looking at me, and they don’t like me. But I don’t see it like a strange thing, cause I feel I am the strange thing at all. I always felt I was a weird person since I was a kid. The word ”weird” always was my favorite word.
Best advice you’ve ever received?
I guess the best advice I’ve ever got was when my father said: follow your dreams, no matter what.
And what was the most wonderful compliment you ever got?
The most wonderful compliment I’ve ever got came from my father too, when he said: you are my pride, cause you never ever give up about what you want.
Your favorite image of this set, and why?
My favorite image of this set is this one I’ve sent you, because I think I look natural, and I feel myself in that picture. It’s just a simple picture, but for me looks very strong.
What is the biggest challenge of our generation?
The biggest challenge of my generation is find yourself, because I see people getting lost all the time, and I feel the same, I feel I am lost, I don’t know what do to, what to think, what I want. It’s really hard to find yourself, know yourself…
Where and with whom can we find you on a Saturday night?
You can find me on a Saturday night with my husband, friends, in a pub, having dinner, or even working, cause I work on weekends too. You can fing me everywhere, I never know what I’ll be doing on a Saturday night.
Where do you see yourself in the future?
I don’t know where I see myself in the future, I hope on the top of the world, cause it is all I want, if this makes sense to you. I want to be doing what I like, what makes me happy, doing things when people see they think ”she’s got it”.
