Another year, another field day.  one of my favourite festivals to bring in the new year, the location is incredible and the lineup never disappoints

We start the day with Tuka on the main stage, he draws in the early bird punters and sets the mood, we then follow up with Motorik Vibe Council on the left field stage to bring the techno to the kids who are still raging from last night.

Onto the main stage and we have ‘Allday’ making panties wet, I’ve never seen so many girls up on shoulders before 3PM, we are then graced with Ta-ku’s new live performance which definitely chilled the crowd out before the man of the moment ‘Skepta’ made everyone lose their shit, this dude is awesome fun.

RL Grime comes out and absolutely slays his set with a huge trap performance, I sneak off early to check out Halsey, this chick is hot and can sing.  I then make my way back over to left field to catch Seth Troxler who does one of my favourite sets of the day.

Flight Facilities make the crowd go up while the sun goes down with a special celebration for Brooke, as it’s her birthday tomorrow!

The rest of the evening has huge acts including Boys Noize on the left field stage, Disclosure on the main stage and The Wombats on the island stage.  I see out the festival with Zed’s Dead then head back to the artist compound where Boys Noize, Disclosure and Flight Facilities are going back to back on the turntables in someone’s dressing room.
