Two different goals.
This project is about a collaboration between two lovers: Michaël Jacques and Nastia Cloutier-Ignatiev. Same model, different view and so they decided to shot the same models and see how both would interpret it visually. “We wanted to see how we would work with the same models and the same location, implanting our esthetic by only changing the clothes, the makeup, the lights and the poses. We have close styles, what differences us is that Mike is a portrait photographer and Nastia is a beauty photographer and therefore there are different goals within our work. The portrait one is more about the human, feelings and emotions and beauty photography is more about highlighting some parts of the photograph or the whole, but always in the way to embellish the subject.” Models are Ella, Camille from Folio, Juliette, Katia and Salomé from Dulcedo Models. Makeup artists are Mathilde Migault, Celica Sea, Marienne Caron and clothes are provided by Annex Vintage and Amabìl.
