Everyday Feels like Sunday
24-year old analogue photographer Danielle Suzanne spends her time working in the art department at ELLE Canada and she also runs Zeum Magazine. The Canada based talent recently photographed three new faces on a sunny Sunday afternoon in Toronto and asked them a few questions to get to know them better. Hair and make-up done by Christine Jairamsingh and assistance by Lauren Fairservice. Meet Ela of Elmer Olsen, Brianna of Next and Anne-Sophie of Elite.
Anne-Sophie of Elite Model Management / Age: 16
How were you scouted?
I was scouted a few times before I decided to follow through. For my 16th birthday I was attending a concert in Toronto when I was scouted by Elite Model Management. At that moment, I realized that there wasn’t any harm in giving modelling a try.
If you could walk for any designer on the runway?
Chanel. I find that their shows are always so unique. It would be amazing if I could walk for them one day!

Your ideal Sunday?
Sleeping in and having a lazy day! I’d probably watch some Netflix and spend time with family since I’m usually really busy during the week.
Outside of modelling you…
I play field hockey, I curl and I play soccer through school. On my own time, I play rep. soccer at my local club and I ski and snowboard.
The song you have on repeat at the moment?
I’ll listen to anything on the radio, really. But if I had to choose, anything by Vance Joy or George Ezra.
Something about you that not many people know?
It’s funny to say, but, not many people know that I really like to bake. Most people also don’t know that I speak three languages; English, French and Croatian.
The best piece of advice you’ve ever received?
My parents have always advised me to appreciate experiences over material things. My family has regularly gone on vacation and I think I’ve learned so much through traveling.
If you could be best friends with one model or celeb, who would it be?
Karlie Kloss. Past her stunning looks and success as a model, I really value her appreciation for education. I think it’s awesome how she’s managing to attend university despite her busy lifestyle.
Brianna of Next / Age: 16
How were you scouted?
At a Bulk Barn last year. While buying sour jujubes to deal with the stress of my impending exams.

Your ideal Sunday would be?
In the middle of the summer, waking up to pancakes and fruit, going for a run with a killer girl power playlist and hanging out with the people I love.
Outside of modelling you...
I run and swim. I do math for fun and I love poetry.
The song you have on repeat at the moment?
All Too Well by Taylor Swift and Me & My Girls by Selena Gomez.
Something about you that not many people know?
I’m fairly proficient at circus skills: trapeze, stilts, the whole nine yards. Except – despite years of trying – I still haven’t gotten the hang of juggling.
The best piece of advice you’ve ever received?
“I hope all your kids are exactly like you.” From my 8th grade English teacher to my class at the time. It’s not exactly advice, but it’s kept me in line.
If you could be best friends with one model or celeb, who would it be? Taylor Swift

If you could walk for any designer on the runway, who would it be and why?
Chanel. I like how original all the clothes, perfumes and designs are.

Your ideal Sunday would be?
Going to the movie theatre with friends or family. Or snuggling up with a good book, music and tea.

I love playing tennis as well as horseback riding.

Not many people know that I model.
