Surrounded by nature and all the beauty it has to offer.
Take a breath of fresh air and look at your surroundings. You’re in a foreign place, an area you don’t recognize. It’s quiet, there are no sirens nor people crossing the street, in fact, there are no streets, only trees, leaves, and the wilderness. You are surrounded by nature, and it is beautiful.
We took a trip to Ithaca, New York, a region north west of the city for sights otherwise unseen. At the Log Country Inn Bed & Breakfast of Ithaca we were surrounded by nature, with chickens roaming the forest ground and the smell of fresh air seeping through our veins. We were finally free of the city, and all the stressful grasps it held.

Our sweet host Wanda standing in front of her home – each morning Wanda hosts, at her house, the most delectable breakfasts consisting of fresh fruits, eggs, coffee, and polish sweets baked to perfection
Each room of the house had a distinct theme relative to cultures around the world. During our trip we stayed in the “African Room” though there is also the “Polish Room”, “Russian Room”, “Japanese Room”, and “Persian Room” among others.
Wanda has been hosting at her home for 27 years and after spending the weekend enjoying the delights her bed and breakfast have to offer we can see why people continue to go back year after year. As sad as we were to leave, we were ecstatic knowing we’d return again!
