What is the most challenging part about working in the fashion industry?

Probably having to take in all criticism in the right way. It is very easy to take clients’ thoughts about how you look or how you work, to heart. I know a lot of girls who have developed eating disorders and/or are just generally unhappy from some of the feedback they get. Girls have to remember to be a free spirit and enjoy yourself and the opportunities you are given. If something doesn’t work out, just take it with a grain of salt and move on to the next opportunity. The most important thing is that you are happy.

Who do you dream about?

It’s strange, I find it hard to keep track of my dreams. Most of all, I dream about visiting different places or countries. With my friends and family. I have someone close to heart who appears in nearly all my dreams, I feel like dreams really reflect what your subconscious is thinking and what your heart wants to do in the future. I also believe a lot of energy from the universe and its plans for you are flowed through and into your dreams. The mind is such a powerful thing.

And what do you expect from life?

I expect whatever the universe has planned for me. I believe everything happens for a reason. Whoever I might meet, the places I might travel, and the opportunities I come across are all meant to be. Most of all, I expect to be happy, in mind, in my body, and soul.

Instagram is all about presenting the ideal version of yourself – “the good life” Why do you think so many people are addicted to this app?

It’s free publicity, everyone’s addicted because they have got into the cycle of having to constantly feel the need to upload pictures as it’s a very quick and easy way to express yourself. Some people are addicted to seeing how “perfect” someone else is life is. I don’t follow any celebrities as I don’t find their accounts to be realistic.
