The 21st century girl doesn’t pertain to any stereotype. She’s a chick of many talents. One moment she’s in Europe, the next she’s in Asia. She’s working on several artistic projects at once and killing it at every single one. She’s a mix of races – picking up different cultures as she travels. She’s the mysterious girl at the party everyone wants to get to know.

Tell me how you were as a kid.
I have a younger sister and we always used to play fight when we were growing up. My mother said I used to treat her like she was my child and I was very motherly towards her but at the same time we were very play/fighty. I grew up on a farm in the country. My parents divorced when I was around nine so that was tricky. But that sped up the growing up process which is useful. I always grew up loving animals. At the age of five I became a vegetarian. Animals were always my life. I used to get up early and feed the ducks, the chickens. I had horses and I was very involved with the farm. It was quite a cool childhood to be fair.
How have you changed since then? Ā From growing up on a farm to be watched by everyone in the UK?
I think that I adapt well to situations. People may not think that about me. But I am open-minded to everything and always imagined I would be involved in something like this. I know that sounds arrogant in a way but I never just considered anything else so it wasn’t weird for me to get into this field. It’s a bit weird living in the city. City life is a bit hectic and stressful but I know I will probably end up back in the country side one day.
What do your parents do?
My dad is a businessman. He works in the pub industry and is very successful. My mom does art in her free time and she’s very creative. Neither of them have been into that kind of thing I am doing now. My grandma used to sing in the opera house so she’s a professional singer and my grandad was a script writer.
“What I want to be remembered for?Ā Raise awareness of things, change the world which is CRAZY, but there’s so much cruelty out there and I want it to stop.”
What would you tell your younger self?
I don’t know! I’m that kind of person that every choice you make in life really brings you to where you are. I don’t like having regrets. I would say keep doing what you’re doing. Maybe tell myself to work harder in school because I really didn’t work hard in school. It would be cool to be like, yah, I did really well in this. It would have been nice if I paid more attention to things. Mostly that and just keep doing what you are doing.
Your jewellery pieces are stunning! Ā Talk me through the process of your jewellery collection.
I guess I’ve always loved jewellery. I’ve always had a very creative and imaginative mind and I’m constantly thinking about ideas. With jewellery it was something that I’ve always wanted to create because I felt like I wanted to create something which I wanted to wear as well. Furthermore I wanted something else do to as well. Something that was my own baby. It was tough and I honestly thought it would be easier to start your own business, but it’s not that at all. If you’re doing it from scratch on your own and investing your own money and time and knowledge then it’s very tricky. I wish I had more help but I have learnt a lot through the process. It is something I can be proud of and think of it as my baby.
Are you looking to expand your jewellery business?
I’m so chilled out about that kind of thing but I have ambitions for fashion. I would like to create or collaborate with a clothing brand. I’m into quite basic stuff with an edge and I love logos on things and t-shirts as I think that looks cool. I would also likeĀ to bring out more vegan clothing because I don’t think there is much of that out there. I want to provide a product for that market and I think there’s a definite niche there. That’s my business mind but on the other hand it is also something that I would like to have myself and I am sure there are plenty of people out there who are looking for that sort of clothes as well.
Which brands out there inspire you?
I get inspired by everything out there. There aren’t that many vegan brands though. Obviously Stella McCartney has done really well. She has really cool stuff. They’re super expensive so I want to create something more affordable. I want to take my time to do what I want to do and I’m a perfectionist so maybe I’ll take some time before I start. About my jewellery line I’m super relaxed as well. It’s been around for two years and I’ve just put out two collections. I’m not super pushy with it and I don’t advertise it heavily. If you want it, buy it but I’m not forceful about my products. It’s a hobby in that sense.
What goalsĀ do you have for your YouTube channel?
I would like to eventually create my own cruelty free makeup brand and therefore do more tutorials for people. But it takes a lot of time to first of all do these videos and then also edit them etc, and I donĀ“t necessarily have that time at the moment. But when I do, I want to focus more on it.
What do you want to be remembered for?
That’s a really weird question! laughs. I’ve never heard that before. Well, I want to be remembered for someone who sticks by her guns no matter what. Someone that stands up for those that don’t have a voice, like animals or maybe children. I feel like I’ve been given this amazing opportunity and it’s a gift. I feel like if I don’t do something amazing with that gift it would be a waste. Raise awareness of things, change the world which is CRAZY, but there’s so much cruelty out there and I want it to stop.
