Haunting 69 seconds. ‘A mind without a rind’ directs the viewer to the subject & taboo of truth, how we feel defensive, even fearful toward honesty in ourself & others. We are encouraged to build an empire of protection around our thoughts and deepest desires. This poem asks, ‘for what?’ Why? -when our truths, our sincerity, is our most powerful energy. This mental empire proves difficult to dissemble, even though we are the ones who built it.
Words and voiceover are by the talented Blair Sinnott who also starred in this artistic and dark visual poem, directed and shot by Mario Feil together with the creative minds of ‚BestDayEver‘ and ‚Buster Black‘ around Berlin. Music by Florian Siegmund.
