“This series represents the feeling of our time with Maya, the rawness of the energy that fills the Brunswick streets, the emoticon of Maya´s life and the stories that her eyes told with those memories our cameras captured in 35mm. For this generation it´s so easy to connect; get lost; get creative and find yourself.” remembers photographer Jeremy Gryst about the shooting with model Maya and stylist Alex Pratt. Initially connecting only on instagram they all met up a few days after when Zealand born, half Japanese, half Australian Maya, moved to East Brunswick, Melbourne celebrating their meeting in real life with a superb photo shooting.
