Although currently crafting her own brand of smooth R&B pop, Songwriter and producer Abby Diamond got her start as a jazz vocalist in New Orleans in her late teenage years. And it shows on her latest single, “There’s A Light In My Room.” The first glimpse at her new EP, Sorceress, showcases the chanteuse’s angelic but powerful voice in peak form. Gliding from the highs of her falsetto to the lower end of her register seemingly without effort, come 2018, Diamond and her latest collection of soul-infused pop songs just might be a force to be reckoned with.
