“A couple of days ago I shot some photos with a dear friend of mine. It was a fun afternoon, Agnese got dressed like a majorette and we explored a little garden and an amusement park I used to visit as a kid – it has changed quite a bit but we found some cute dragons” ~ Kimberley Ross
Agnese:
I used to hang out with photographers since my adolescence. I always enjoyed it because everything changed through my eyes, it was like I was able to see things in a different way when they photographed me without artificial lights or particular constructed schemes. I remember that the first time I met Kim I was hanging around and she stopped me asking if she could take a picture of me: it was so spontaneous and unexpected that I enjoyed her vision of things since the first time. Now, after two years, I feel so comfortable with her that we love spending sunny days hanging around nature and other magical places, chatting and drinking coffee but most of all improvising photos, it’s like a tradition for us to take at least one photo every time we meet up doing something, even if it’s still for a coffee and a walk.
Kimberley Ross:
The best thing about shooting with a friend is that you can always improvise and experiment, without any pressure. When you’re shooting with a friend can even ask her to dress up like a majorette, in a sunny but a little chilly autumn afternoon. After all that’s how me and Agnese got to know each other: I met her and I asked if I could take her picture! Two years later we’re friends and we share afternoons full of coffee and photos.
