France’s Guillaume Costes assumed the moniker Rusty Hook back in 2013 when he started creating a unique blend of productions that draw from a variety of styles like electronic, hip-hop, and alternative. Also a member of the artist collective, Slow Hours, the young producer has developed a knack for productions that soar like pop hits, thump like club anthems, and have grit like rock songs. Assisted by a few talented vocalists, Costes covers a lot of musical ground on his eclectic new EP, “Romance is Dead, Good Riddance.” Whether you’re a fan of pop, alternative or dance, there’s something on here for you, and today C-Heads brings you an exclusive first listen of the Moving Castle endorsed batch of tracks.

“All in all, I wanted to create music that leaves a strong emotional imprint and really makes you feel things. The five tracks are references to particular periods of my life. It’s one of the most intimate projects I’ve ever made and I love that it’s a representation of my evolution in for the last two years.”
