“My personal space and energy is important to me so I really watch who I keep around”
Get to know New York based model Anais who enchants with her alluring eyes and all over confident sparkle. Photographed by Bern Hardy. Make-up done by Shanell Sorrells.
Who is your role model in life?
No role models, it’s never been my thing.
How did you get discovered as a model?
Hmm discovered? (smiles) A photographer and aspiring scout who worked with the curve division at the agency sent over my images to my current booker. She replied and asked me to come in to meet and it’s been love ever since.
How important are friends for you?
Important so much, so I’m picky. My personal space and energy is important to me so I really watch who I keep around, maybe too much if that is a thing.

Where can we find you on a Sunday afternoon?
Possibly in my bed (laughs) or on set hopefully!
The most challenging thing about being young in our times?
Making life decisions, college, work, starting relationships, ending relationships. It’s really all of you at the end of the day and at this age it’s weird because we’re mature enough, or should be, to handle these things, however it doesn’t lighten the process.

Goals for 2018?
To work more, to literally get booked more but to also do more for myself. Plenty of new journeys ahead I just need to open the doors or at least knock (laughs)
