“It can take some time to really find yourself and what you wanna do. It´s so important”

Clara Mae grew up in a small historical town in Sweden called Gävle filled with lots of music and athletic sports. She studied Jazz vocals and piano for 3 years. Later she got a publishing deal and therefore moved to Stockholm to work full-time with music. Early in her career she got co-writes from some of the most dignified electronic artists – David Guetta & Tiesto. Clara has since pivoted her focus to writing for herself – discovering the importance of her lyrics being used to tell her story. Since then she recently had a song out with Jake Miller named ‘Better Me Better You’ In our sidewalk interview she talks about being the first female artist on Big Beat (Atlantic), co-writing with David Guetta, love and finding herself.
