People travelling through their own worlds in the oldest club in Russia called Propaganda.
“I’ve been photographing within the Russian electronic scene for 3 years.” Photographer Vera Linnik starts to share with us. “Once I realized, that there is always this one moment at the party that fascinates me in a very intensive way: the moment of falling into yourself. Meeting your real self, not covered with everyday routine, fears and stereotyped world.” We start recalling those evenings where we let ourselves fall into the music. Into the crowd. The first awkward moments where you feel everyone else is watching you. But suddenly you just start feeling that you have always been in that place and always been a part of it all. You belong to the crowd, yet you are in your own world. “People on these pics were definitely seeing something, that no one else could grasp.” elucidates Vera.”That was the moment of truth.” All images were taken at the Propaganda club in Moscow and a special thanks goes out to Sergey Timoshov, the Art Director of Propaganda.
