“Severiano” is a cinematic short movie about the reflection of a lost youth produced and directed by Argentinian film directors Francisco Mazziotti & Alexan Kevork Sarikamichian of Alexan Films. “One of the ruling basis of our story is to portray youth as a way of life, from within, from our own experiences. To reflect that vision into a personal story, searching for a direct connection between the character & the audience. That’s why our “ideal” audience is undoubtedly young. We have been producing some films aimed for that audience over the Internet for quite some time now. This time, we wanted to take it to the bigger picture.” Alexan eplains.
“Dialogues were not written during the screenwriting process. We looked for actors that already knew each other, they are friends in the real life. We wanted for that line between fiction & reality to be as thin as possible. To work on set with the actors and react to whatever unfolds at the present moment of shooting. We always looked to shoot the exterior scenes at “borderline” times, or the so called “magic hours”. Our main character is at the edge of something, and we wanted to reflect that visually, and that light clearly helps to build that sensation.”
