“I am typically most inspired by our most natural and raw nature. I find beauty in effortlessness. For this reason I shoot exclusively on film. Doing so allows me to be completely present while creating. Meeting someone for the first time with no prior context and connecting through a lens is always a special experience for me as a photographer. Here Lilianna is photographed in Miami while in town visiting from New York. We got together and did a quick shoot with no plans or reference. Just her being herself. To me there’s nothing more captivating.”
