Visual designer and artist KJX KJTEN documents Korean youth culture with his analog camera of his grandfather. “My photos simply represent the record of time. I want to express belief, solitude and freedom towards life through the perspectives of the subject, whether it is an object or a person.
My first point of contact of becoming a photographer happened while I was working as a fashion designer. A few years ago, while I was creating the look book of my first mini collection, I discovered my grandfather’s old film camera in the corner of my eye. This was the start for my journey of becoming a photographer.”
