There is great news from Christian Löffler. The talented German producer is about to release a new album called “Lys” (via Ki Records); a selection of Löffler’s favorite productions from the past three years. And beforehand here on C-Heads we have an exclusive song premiere out of it: “The End” – in collaboration with Josephine Philip, who also wrote the song. As always, Christian´s melancholic sounds lets you immerse into a strange and beautiful world. Combined with the authentic, raw voice of Josephine, the typical Löffler sound sounds moody, exactly fitting for the mystic beauty of a February in our latitudes.
“‚The End‘ was written with my friend Josephine Philip from Copenhagen and is the follow-up work to our first collaboration ‚Running‘ from my album ‚Graal (Prologue)‘. It’s about our fate that everything is coming to an end at some point and nothing is here to last forever.” Christian explains. “The song is a reminder to focus on the people and things in life that we really love and care about. It’s so easy to lose track and get lost in all the possibilities nowadays. Things that make us happy are often closer than we think. But it’s also about letting go and clearing your vision to see what else can be there – not to follow the same path without having a look aside.”
