“This photo shoot is about poetry. The girl writes poems, she is surrounded by drafts, sketches, archival papers. And closer to night, she begins to write them on herself. ” tells us Russian and St. Petersburg based photographer Ivan Kaprise about his latest photographic work. “On her body are lines of my poems,” he adds and explains that the poems are about love and relationships, about the relationship between the poet and the world, the poet and the state. The images feel like a life-size portrait with Model Lu Lu posing thoughtfully in a setting full of selected details.
