“Winter mornings are so beautiful in Cape Town and I’ve come to appreciate them so much more under our present circumstances. I spend mornings sitting in the sun as it warms my face, appreciating all the things about it I took for granted.” tells us photographer Tsele Tommy Nthane about his new series starring 20-year-young enchanting Ylva. “When Ylva and I agreed to shoot, we were really looking forward to using this brief moment as the sun rose, to connect again with all the little things we can be grateful for everyday. It’s always magical the way sunlight reflects off the skin, reminding us everyday of how much all we need is already there for us.”
