Enjoy a moment with model Sirena Warren.
Photography and Interview by Keitaro Cloward
Phone ringing… Keitaro: Hi it’s Keitaro. Sirena: Hi.
Keitaro: Just calling about the interview, do you wanna start with the intro?
Sirena: Sirena, an Artist, Model. Grew up in west LA (Westchester), spent most of my time in Venice and Marina del Rey where most of my friends live. I always loved the west side and being near the beach.
Keitaro: Taking a trip down memory lane how did the year start of and what were your plans for 2020.
Sirena: At the beginning of the year I saw myself traveling a lot for work. I was in New York for a bit working. Went to Paris beginning of March with my boyfriend. Was also working there, for a bit, until the government shut down happened and I made the executive decision to go back home. There wasn’t going to be very much work after that modeling wise.
Keitaro: How was that?
Sirena: So I took a connecting flight that took over 30 hours had to spend the night in Istanbul. Was truly hell to get home. It was either that flight or a $4000 one way direct flight.
“I always loved being near the beach.”
Keitaro: Anything you miss about being on lockdown?
Sirena: I guess I’m mostly just bummed I can’t travel right now I was supposed to be in Japan this month. I feel pretty trapped.
Keitaro: Is there anything in your work or creative live that wouldn’t have happened if quarantine didn’t happen?
Sirena: I have had a lot more free time, to work on my paintings and drawings. So I am grateful for that opportunity.
Keitaro: Anything that you would like to have happen within the next couple of months?
Sirena: I just hope in the coming months I can start traveling again and feel that sense of freedom again that’s been taken from us.
