A while ago we chatted to the young talented musician Amilli about her awesome debut hit “Rarri”. And we also don´t want to keep her latest release “Alone In The Rain” from you. A soothing, chilled track accompanied by a beautiful video making us feel all nostalgic about road trips towards the sunset and the sound of the sea.
Funnily enough Amilli had never planned on becoming a singer but as she says herself, “slipped into by accident”. To Amilli it was a great overcoming, because she never had the plan to become a singer, let alone perform her songs in front of thousands of people. Still, she says, “I’ve realized how much I benefit from leaving my comfort zone a little bit more each day and not always worry so much.” adding, “at the end of the day, I always say to myself that nothing really bad happens if I sing a wrong note once. As long as I give my best, have fun and live up to my own expectations, I am satisfied.”.
Enjoy the video as well as exclusive images of Amilli shot for C-Heads by Niren Mahajan, and find out how she spent her days in quarantine.

“Writing songs and music in general helps me a lot to cope with quarantine. Although it can be quite hard to find inspiration sometimes, it’s really therapeutic and nice to keep being productive.”
“That’s why I also love to knit these days. My mom taught me when I was a kid and since then I never really had the time and patience to start knitting again.”
“Dressing up and playing around with makeup has also been really fun and it’s especially good for my mental health to not be in sweats all day.”
“In the evening I really like to read a lot before going to sleep. I love reading and it also stops me from spending hours on my phone at night.I have especially loved Benedict Well’s books, since they’re so beautifully written.
All in all, this is basically how I spend my days. Sometimes I am productive or sometimes I procrastinate or have a self-care quarantine day. No matter what though, I imagine each morning that I’ve woken up in Paris.”
