JOSEFINE is a Swedish artist who makes pretty great pop music.
Does that surprise you? It shouldn’t. Joining the ranks of pop compatriots like Tove Lo and Robyn, JOSEFINE even attended the same prestigious Rytmus Music High School in Stockholm as the aforementioned. She’s currently in the midst of releasing her latest collection of singles, and by our metrics, things are going quite swimmingly. The lead single “Let It Go” has already amassed nearly 5 million plays on Spotify alone, in just as many months, and again this week she’s pushing the needle hard with her brand new synth pop groover “Dreamin'”. The single, which was produced by mega-producer Martin René is perfect for shaking off the seasonal blues. Check it out below, and remember, brighter days are just around the corner.

“I wanted to make something to make people dance and move, and ultimately connect with all those not so distant, nostalgic, summer memories and romances in which we lose ourselves in the present moment.”
“When I got the studio I wanted to create something happy and fresh that could take people somewhere other than the crazy reality we have faced this year. “Dreamin’” was inspired by the crazy upside down year we’ve all had in 2020. I wanted to make something to make people dance and move, and ultimately connect with all those not so distant, nostalgic, summer memories and romances in which we lose ourselves in the present moment and are truly living life for the magic and human connection it provides. I hope this track gives you a brief pause from whatever you are facing in life right now and really serves as a reminder that we should all dream big, dream more, and love harder – now more than ever before!”
