Konstantin Arnold is one of those writers who writes with natural passion. One of those authors from days long gone. Writing for the sake of writing. Because thoughts and stories need to be put on paper.
The Lisbon based artist works for international magazines and newspapers to afford olives and red wine on Friday nights. Living what he writes, Konstantin’s short stories take us to poetic worlds, capturing overlooked details of a fast-paced world. The 29-year-old is free of social constraints, both in person and in his writing, as he transforms a wealth of profound yet fleeting thoughts into potent prose.
And it’s really wonderful news that he’s finally releasing his debut book “Libertin – Letters From Lisboa” including a cinematic short movie under the same name. The heart of the film tells a love story about Lisbon, behind which the love story to a girl is hidden.
Based on the book “Libertin – Briefe aus Lissabon” by Konstantin Arnold
Konstantin also contributed to our print Volume 36.
