Electronic music band Oxford Drama consist of Gosia Dryjańska and Marcin Mrówka. The Polish duo just released their beautiful soft-footed new single Not My Friend which is inspired by the fast pace of life, vague relationships, the constat race against the clock and the true need for some real emotions.
It’s like a therapy session in which, after some time, you know it’s not healthy to keep your feelings hidden and you found the courage to say „I ask where have you been, I missed you all my life”, either to a human being or to the concept of time that’s not eager to cooperate with you. Despite being focused on problems of the present times, it just sometimes seems plainly bizarre, but nowadays… what is normal, right?
Hopefully there are better days around the corner… at least we have the music.
