From a young age Sabine Khabiri looked up to the women in renaissance paintings. And she has found her way to be both in front and behind the camera. “The whispers that bounce and shone through their skin and forms that begun to teach me what loving my own form could do, and what light and confidence it would soon react with. I took to portraiture to experiment with how best to replicate their beauty.”
“It broke heat in London, after weeks of rain and lack of vitamin sun. D’Andre and I took to Hyde Park to sit in the sheltered but strong sun. It was bright and beaming but there were no rays.” she tells about her shooting with photographer D’Andre Elizah. We laughed and shot for under an hour in the middle of the park whilst people walked by and went on with their beautiful mornings, leaving us to learn more about the person behind and in front of the camera.”
