There is always something quite melancholical around Julián Cárdenas‘s work. When looking at his pictures you immerse yourself into the person pictured, want to know what is going on in their head and you have the deep feeling of being part of a strange moment.
“A few days ago I met Paula. We are both Colombian artists. Naturally in these analogoue photographs we manifested internal movements, the stillness generated by silence, the peace, freedom, and above all self-love.”
