“I’ve always done and written music ever since I was a kid but I never thought it could be a career, while modeling started as a side thing when I was going to university. I decided to really take on music when I started sharing covers and mash ups online. The incredible feedback really pushed me to do it.” We talked to Russian-born Italian artist Patricia Manfield alias HĒIR and her detours for music not long ago.

The young artist has already experienced a lot in her young years and also in her new release “Anyone” she tells about a very personal experience. The cinematic video – filmed in Naples – wraps the story of the end of an relationship in powerful images. “We shot the video in the heart of Naples, the “Spanish Quarters”.” she tells us. “A place that feels like home, where everyone gives you a hand, a drive, where there is so much art, architecture and truthfulness. A place where people offer you coffee at 4 in the morning and open their doors to you to help you unconditionally.”

She continues: “Naples as location for the video was a spontaneous choice. I’m writing in English since I was a child living in London. I’ve always exported my ideas abroad and never the other way around. After years spent. abroad, I began to look at Naples with different, enamored eyes. “Anyone” speaks about a love you want to leave behind, about recovering self-confidence and the awareness of being master of your own destiny. I wanted to translate this awareness by humanizing Naples as a real character, as if Naples were telling me “do not forget where you come from.”

There is nothing more destructive than a relationship with a narcissist, because this person is primarily about his ego, but also about power. A narcissist is a strongly self-centered person who is characterized by selfishness and egoism while at the same time devaluing the partner. To withdraw from such a relationship is a liberating blow. And the only step back into life where you are valuable again and feel love for yourself. “It’s an autobiographical song about falling in love with a narcissist. The kind of love that cancels you, consumes you, kills your self-esteem but always makes you come back because the abuse is familiar. ‘Anyone’ is the realization that, in reality, YOU were the added value to your ex, not the other way around. Now he is simply ”anyone” while you’re finally feel free to love yourself.” So true!

Hello from my planet! I love nature, freedom, dancing, traveling, music, reading, chilling, cats and the woods. What makes me happy is healthy food, a good night out, long walks in the forest and getting lost in the sound of nature.
