Photographer Darius ‘DJ’ Jennings headed over to New Orleans for BUKU Music + Art Project. Catch a glimpse into the festival through his lens.
“In the heart of New Orleans, BUKU Music + Art Project celebrates their 10th anniversary of hosting a beautiful mix of EDM as well as hip-hop. The festival not only included wonderful artist but wide-range of art installations from NFT creation to live graffiti. Being only a 15 minute walk from the French Quarter BUKU Project allowed attendees to experience Tyler, The Creator & Tame Impala then enjoy Bourbon Street & everything it had to offer. Even someone who doesn’t frequent EDM, Alison Wonderland’s & Rezz’ set has definitely made me a fan. With songs with outstanding drops & crowds that truly brought the entire place alive. Although if EDM isn’t your cup of tea, heading over to any of the many other stages wouldn’t leave you disappointed either. Vince Staples made sure to play his best songs, from Limos to songs that came out less than a few weeks ago, Magic. Overall, the BUKU Project ’22 gave a once in a lifetime experience of something you could only have New Orleans.”
