The new track ‘Circadian’ from UK producer Mazoulew featuring Verdance is a beautiful hymn full of sensuality that takes you on an incredible emotional journey. Carried by atmospheric synt lines that build up intensely, our thoughts soothingly sink into mysterious unknown worlds.
Speaking on the new single Mazoulew: “After closing ‘Movements’ last year I wanted to bring something new with a lot of colour and dynamics. Working completely in isolation was interesting as it allowed me to really focus on the ideas without any form of interference or convolution. I really wanted to get back into collaborating with people, so I felt like now was the perfect time. I had about 80% of the story down for the record but knew I wanted to reach out to Jake (Verdance) and get him to add some new characters. Working remotely from one another is always complex as you have to feel out what the other person is thinking through a process of trial and error which can lead to some interesting and creative results.”
He continues: ‘Circadian’ is a story about growth and development; it is portraying a cycle of changes in behaviour that we all experience when closing one chapter and entering another. As much as it is a moment in time to be experienced, I like to leave it to the listener to interpret and determine what it means to them and how it makes them feel on an emotional level.”
