“It’s 9 o’clock, you’ve lost your friends, and your phone is dead. The mirror is telling you lies, and your adolescence is beginning to show.” introduce indie-pop band Pentire their new release ‘Fading Out’. The youthful, good vibes track is a continuation of their previous acclaimed track ‘Best Friend’s House’ and immediately transports us to a great and easygoing night out with friends, dancing and going to ground carefree to the rhythm of the music and just have a blast.
But that growing up is not at all that easy at all times, especially in our times, is also being processed by the Herefordshire quartet in their introspective and wry lyrics. “It’s a song that is very close to our hearts, Fading Out is an angst tale of losing control of your fragile consciousness and is a lyrical follow up to our previous release ‘Best Friend’s House’.”
Inspired by the stories of growing up in a small town, student life, the innocence of youth and an urge to break out in order to play their music, Pentire´s refreshing sound manages to sweeten our day – and hopefully yours too!
