Once you hear a song by Bedford Falls, you’re hooked. The four piece indie rock band from Georgia has irrevocably taken my heart by storm.
Bedford Falls are David Jikia on vocals and rhythm guitar, Mikho Kalandarishvili on lead guitar, George Migriauli on bass and Sandro Diasamidze on the drums. And they are exceptionally talented musicians whose passion for music is noticeable in each of their songs. Formed in 2014, it became quiet around this truly authentic band for about two years, but finally they are back, and how! After not being signed to any label for a long time, the upcoming studio album is set to be released this fall via Interlock Records.
“You’ll know when the song’s completed by the feel of it.”
With KINO they deliver an unbelievably atmospheric song that seamlessly follows where they left off. Multi-layered sounds of beautiful ambient melodies that build up to a magical story. “You’ll know when the song’s completed by the feel of it. I can’t really explain it. That’s beyond me. It just feels complete.” David Jikia once told in an interview. Corresponding to his statement it comes to my mind that after listening to KINO, for a moment indeed, I somehow feel complete too.
Lead singer and songwriter David Jikia tells: “KINO is a subtle ode to the cinema and a perfect intro for the upcoming album. And it is one of those tracks, our fans will instantly fall in love with it.”
They will play at KHIDI Club on 19th May: More Infos and Tickets here.
