Alexander Tarazo wants to get to know people on a deeper level and appeals to the senses and the imagination through his work. This time he photographed gorgeous designer and model Seneca.
“At the beginning of New York Fashion Week, I went out for a beer after class one day to meet up with friends. After leaving the pub, I was on my way to the subway when I saw Seneca, a designer and model who had recently moved to the city. It was a gray day, but strangely she had this veil of light, and the faint light that passed between the buildings which pointed directly at her was a sign to me.
This was already a month ago, and so we decided to shoot in her apartment a series full of strength, vulnerability, self-love, fear and longing. An intense desire to live, to dream, to love, to sleep, to laugh, to cry, to feel, to read, to see, to imagine, to remember, and to make art.
Inspired by the uncertainty of life, the beginning and end of everything, we are here to love and create.”
