“I’ll include any sound that makes me feel a song more, no matter where it’s from. I write everything by ear. Somehow this has always led me to produce my district sound.”
The approach to music for the young artist Noah Klein is an unconstrained one, free from categorization, free for experimentation that also involves his interests in art and flash photography.
After spending some time in beautiful Barcelona and then later immersing himself in the Berlin producer scene, the German-American multi-instrumentalist and producer now releases his latest EP whatdidyoudo2me. The four tracks take you on a journey of ease with a slight sense of melancholy. whitefineline8, for example, glows with the utmost delicacy and nostalgia in which effortless sound blends into a magnetic soundscape. The ambiance is an unusual and refreshing combination of sounds, moments and instrumentation.
The record was created during a musical retreat where Noah invited producers – and his friends – Bearcubs and Aud Syn to experiment with sound production and old tape recorders for inspiration.
This fall, Noah will be touring North America and Europe with Bearcubs, taking the stage at prestigious venues such as The Drake Hotel in Toronto, The Echo in Los Angeles, and Elsewhere in Brooklyn.
