“My creative works express the personal insights I have collected in moments of clarity between depressive and euphoric phases throughout my life.”
Vincent Littlehat is a creative artist who expresses herself through music, writing, performance, and modeling. Although originally from Poland, she currently resides in Berlin, having previously worked and traveled to London and Naples. During our recent interview, she shared insights into her incredible ability to introspect, which is also evident in her music. Having studied psychology at university, she incorporates thought-provoking lyrics in her work, inviting listeners to embark on an adventure outside themselves, to change their perspective and return with a new understanding of themselves.
Her latest EP Another Land Below, which features five songs, takes listeners on an emotional journey. The tracks are infused with a hint of melancholy and theatricality, yet remain hopeful. Vincent’s use of blended genres, including piano passages, highlights her versatility and diversity as an artist. “My creative works express the personal insights I have collected in moments of clarity between depressive and euphoric phases throughout my life,” Vincent explains. “These insights have been a source of stability for me through times of emotional turbulence. By presenting them in a creative way, through music and visuals, I return to the wise side of myself more enthusiastically and relate my perspective with others.”
Alongside the album, she has also released a new music video for the lead single How I Vibrate. The clip reflects Vincent’s creative process, showcasing the nuance and subtlety of less tangible forces, such as emotions, thoughts, words, and actions. Vincent explains that while some aspects of the creative process can be planned and measured, other significant modifying parameters come from an unconscious field of possibilities and memories of everyone and everything involved.
