In her latest photographic endeavour, aptly titled “At the End of the Road“, Cécile Larher has combined the sylvan allure of Portugal’s untamed landscapes with the grace and dynamism of model Cheinaz Franca. This photographic series, imbued with an unexpected romanticism, captures the dual energy of peaceful tranquillity and unyielding strength.
Immersing herself in the less frequented locales of Portugal, Cécile discovered the wilder territory of Cabo Espichel, an unadorned gem just an hour’s journey south of Lisbon. Here, where the sea sings its siren song to the cliffs, and an abandoned monastery whispers echoes of forgotten times, Cécile found her perfect setting.
The rugged landscapes offer an elemental backdrop, amplifying the profound serenity found in nature’s raw beauty. Each frame in this series is a gust of sea breeze, unfettered, free, and bracing, carrying with it the salt-laden tang of a coastline untouched by man’s artificial influence.
“At the End of the Road” is a tribute to the strength inherent in tranquility, a journey into a romantic holiday reverie where one can feel the sea breeze and appreciate the beauty of the rugged nature.
